Challenges

Starting out and building my own brand identity from scratch posed a number of challenges such as increasing my own brand awareness and visibility in a competitive market as well as staying consistent with posting and interacting with other artist, producers and creatives.

Solution

To address these challenges, I implemented a comprehensive social media management strategy focusing on three key areas:

Content Creation:

I developed a consistent content calendar consisting of posts to Instagram, YouTube and Beatstars.

Audience Engagement:

I actively monitored and responded to comments and messages on all platforms as well as custom inquiries.

Performance Analysis:

Tracked monthly sales, conducted monthly reviews and adjusted pricing to reflect feedback.

Website Design and Search Engine Optimisation:

Designed my own website from scratch and made use of SEO practices to drive traffic.

Outreach:

Communicated with artists, producers and creatives from my business account to build rapport, network and collaborate.

Results
